A cake smash photoshoot is the perfect way to end a year of celebrating your child’s photographic journey. By the time your child is ready for the cake smash celebration, Karen will have already had several photo sessions with your child. Karen begins your child’s first year by taking photos of your new baby in the first two weeks after birth. Karen will photograph your child again when he or she begins to sit.
The “sitting session” is typically done after your baby is six months old and will include your first sibling photo. Karen will be there again to create images of your child standing and will photograph your youngest child with the siblings again. This session typically occurs after your baby is ten months old. The cake smash is a fun way to culminate a year of firsts for your precious child and can occur before or after his or her first birthday. Should you have an additional event, such as extended family visiting, Karen will gladly be there to photograph this special occasion.
